The Albany Day Hospital is a landmark project that will provide top class healthcare for the Albany community and Great Southern Region
The Albany Day Hospital is located at 6 Lubich Way, Mira Mar in Albany WA, and is part of the first stage of Great Southern Health Precinct along with the Great Southern Specialist Centre. The Private Day Hospital is used to perform day surgery and procedures. The hospital consists of admission area, patient holding rooms, single operating theatre, with a recovery lounges, administrative offices and board meeting rooms.
The Great Southern Health Precinct has been established to meet the growing health needs of the community in the great southern of Western Australia by providing the first and only Private Day Hospital in the region, supported by Specialist Consulting Rooms and a range of allied services that will complement the existing health services and the Albany Health Campus. In turn, this will encourage more Specialists to visit the area and save their patients the cost, time and inconvenience associated with long distance travel to satisfy healthcare needs.
